Each promotion or offer runs for a limited period of time and may have its own requirements for redemption. The following section explains the different promotions that Yankee Candle offers, along with requirements for redemption and exclusions.
Types of Offers and Coupons
Buy item(s), get item(s) free
Example — Buy two, get two free. This offer enables you to purchase one or more items at regular price and receive another item(s) free. The free item(s) may be restricted to receiving the exact same item, or it may include a "mix and match" selection. When you redeem this promotion online, you must add all items (both purchased and free items) to your shopping bag. Items can't be sent without being added to shopping bag, as it's not possible to determine the item(s) you want for a "mix and match" promotion. Free items will be discounted in the shopping bag. If there is a price difference among the items, the free item(s) will be the lower priced item(s).
Buy items, get a discount on item(s)
Example — Buy one, get one 50% off. This offer enables you to purchase two or more items and receive a discount on one or more items. This discount may either be a percentage or a specific amount deducted from the price of the item(s). If there is a price difference, the lower priced item receives the discount. You must add all items (both full price and discounted) to your basket. The appropriate item(s) will be discounted in the shopping bag.
Quantity discounts
Example — Mix & Match: 4 for $20. This offer enables you to purchase a specific number of items at a reduced price for all of the items included in the promotion. This discount is pro-rated and applied to all applicable items. You must add all items to your basket. The appropriate item(s) will be discounted in the shopping bag.
Discount on an item based on total amount in shopping bag
Example — Buy a Small Tumbler Candle for $5 with your $30 purchase. This offer enables you to receive a discount on an item based on an amount threshold in your shopping bag. When you redeem this promotion online, you must add the discounted item to your shopping bag. The discount will be applied when you add the item to your shopping bag, provided the amount has reached the required purchase threshold amount. The price of the discounted item is not included in the required purchase threshold amount. The appropriate item(s) will be discounted in the shopping bag.
Discount based on purchase total
Example — Save $25 on your next Yankee Candle purchase of $50 or more. This offer discounts a specific amount from the total purchase, once a specific amount threshold has been reached. Amount threshold is based on the total amount of qualifying items; any items excluded from the offer will not be included in the total amount calculation to receive the discount. Gift cards are excluded from this offer. Discounts will be applied in the shopping bag.
Discount for item(s) in a set
Example — Buy a Large Jar Candle with a matching Illuma-Lid® Jar Candle Topper for $34.99. This offer pairs items and discounts one of the items. When you redeem this promotion online, you must add all items to your shopping bag. The discount to the specified item will be applied in the shopping bag.
Free shipping
Economy shipping is always free for US-shipped orders with sub-totals of $75 or more. Economy shipping for US-shipped orders is only $6.99 for orders less than $74.99. Yankee Candle® Rewards members receive free economy shipping on orders $50 and over when signed in to their account. Occasionally, the order amount threshold to receive free shipping may be lowered as a limited-time-only offer. The top right section of yankeecandle.com displays the current free shipping order threshold. This messaging is shown in product listing pages for our mobile site.
Buy Online Pickup In Store incentives
Periodically special incentives are offered when consumers select to buy online and pick up their order in their local store. These offers are single-use and consumers when eligible earn one incentive per day.
How to redeem coupons with promo codes online
You can redeem most coupons at Yankee Candle retail stores, with phone orders, and online. When a coupon can be redeemed online, it provides a promo code that you can use in the shopping bag.
Enter the promo code in the shopping bag to redeem the offer. On yankeecandle.com, you can enter promo codes on the right side of the shopping bag. On our mobile site (m.yankeecandle.com), you can enter promo codes in the center section of the shopping bag. After entering the promo code in the "Have a promo code?" field, use the Apply button to apply the offer associated with that promo code to the items in your shopping bag.

Offers featured within the pages of a Yankee Candle catalog are also available online. These offers are automatically applied to your shopping bag; no promo code is usually required. Expiration dates for promotions
All promotions have expiration dates. You can find the expiration date for all pricing, including promotions, in our catalog on the same page that has the shipping information. Pricing cannot be honored after the promotion has expired.

Coupons are one-time use only and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers, discounts, sales or coupons. Limit one coupon per customer. A coupon may be good at retail stores only; other coupons may provide a promotion code that can be entered online at yankeecandle.com at checkout to activate the offer. Discount is applied to all qualifying items purchased on a prorated basis, as shown on receipt; any applicable refunds will be given in the prorated amount which will reduce your savings. Applies to pre-tax purchases only and excludes shipping and handling. Not redeemable for cash or gift cards, nor is it valid toward previous purchases.
