It’s easy to place your order online. Once you've added items to your Shopping Bag, you'll follow these few simple steps to complete your order:

  • Review the items in your Shopping Bag
  • Fill out your shipping and billing information
  • Confirm and place your order using your payment method of choice
  • Print out your order confirmation number

If you received a web order but something appears to be missing, please first check your order history and see if additional packages are in route. Packing slips may not be included in all shipments, but each individual shipment is listed on your order history. Also, please ensure the tracking information confirms the package has been delivered. If you feel an item is still missing in error or package was not delivered when the tracking shows it was, please visit our contact us form and include your order number and be clear of what is missing. A customer service agent will reply with the next steps.

We want you to love all of our candles, fragrances, homes accents, and anything else under our Yankee Candle, WoodWick, or Chesapeake Bay brands. For a period of one year following your purchase, if for any reason you don’t, even if you just change your mind, please see the terms and follow the steps below for a full refund or exchange. Whatever makes you happy is always best!

Store Orders

Do you need to return something you bought at our store? For faster service, bring the item(s) you wish to return and your original cash register receipt to the Yankee Candle® store nearest you. Find a Store
 

To return an item to a store, you’ll need two things:

  • Your detailed order confirmation email or store receipt.
  • The credit or debit card used to make your purchase.

Please note that if your purchase was made using PayPal®, your refund will be issued to the original email account from which the purchase was made.

If you paid for your online purchase using a combination of a credit card and a gift card, you will be refunded for the gift card amount to an egift card which will be emailed to you. Any remaining balance will be refunded to the original credit card, not to exceed the amount charged on this payment method.

Purchased From Another Retailer?

If you purchased your product from a retailer other than Yankee Candle or through a website other than yankeecandle.com, chesapeake.yankeecandle.com, or woodwick.yankeecandle.com, we still want you to love everything you purchase from one of our brands.

For a period of one year following your purchase, if you are not satisfied with your Yankee Candle, WoodWick, or Chesapeake Bay product purchased in the United States of America from one of our authorized sellers, please reach out to us through the Contact Us form . Please note that because we are unable to control the quality of our products sold by unauthorized sellers, unless otherwise prohibited by law, the Happiness Guarantee is not available for products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized internet sites. The Happiness Guarantee is also limited to the original, end-user purchaser in the United States of America.

If your request is approved, you may be asked to mail your product and/or receipt or other proof of purchase to the address below. Please note that you are responsible for costs incurred in mailing these items to us.

Log into your YankeeCandle.com account before your start shopping. When you add items to your Shopping Bag, they’ll automatically remain there for 30 days.

Browse on your smart phone, desktop computer, laptop, or tablet — as long as you are logged into your account, all the items you add to your Shopping Bag will be saved and can be accessed from any device. Simply log in on a different device to view your Shopping Bag.

Note: You must log into your Yankee Candle® account when adding item(s) to your basket to take advantage of multiple-device access to your Shopping Bag. In order to access items in your saved Shopping Bag from a different device, you must also log into your Yankee Candle account on that device as well.

To use an online payment system, select the online payment system of your choice listed directly under the "Contnue to Checkout" button.

To pay for your order with a Yankee Candle Gift Card, enter the card number and PIN number in the Add Gift Card fields of the Payment section. You may choose to pay for all of your order or only part of your order with your Gift Card balance. You can find more details on how to redeem your Yankee Candle gift card during checkout.

Note: With the exception of Yankee Candle Gift Cards, only one payment method can be used per order.

PayPal® Returns: PayPal® is an online service that allows you to pay, transfer money, or accept payments without revealing your financial details.  If your purchase was made using PayPal®, your refund will be issued back to the original PayPal account.

Apple Pay:  When you are making purchases on the web in Safari browser on your iPhone, iPad or Mac, you can use Apple Pay without having to create an account or fill out lengthy forms.

Google Pay:  If you have a Google account, you can store your payment information in Google Pay and make purchases through it, similar to PayPal®.

Afterpay:  Afterpay is a service that allows you to make purchases now and pay for them in 4 payments made every 2 weeks without any interest when you meet a minimum order amount of $35.

Happy Cards: If paying for your online purchase with a Happy Card, please select “Visa” as the Gift Card Type during checkout. The total purchase cost cannot be more than the amount on the Happy Card.

Yankee Candle periodically runs promotions and special offers. These offers enable you to purchase exceptional Yankee Candle products at a great value. Occasionally a "Promo Code" may be needed to take advantage of the offer. The "Promo Code" is entered in the Shopping Bag, and if all requirements of the offer are met, you'll receive the discount associated with the promotion.

You will have a chance to review and verify the information you have entered during checkout and, if no changes are necessary, you can proceed to "Place Your Order." No changes can be made to an order once it has been placed. Depending on the timing, you may be able to cancel an order with errors and resubmit a new order. Within approximately 24 hours, you will receive an email confirming that your order has been received. Once your order has shipped, your credit card will be charged and we will notify you by email with your tracking information.
To place your order by phone, please call the Yankee Candle Customer Service Team at 1-800-243-1776 between the hours of 9:00 am - 8:00 pm ET (Monday - Friday).
Shipping to multiple addresses is not available at this time. If you’d like to send an order or a gift to a different address, we recommend placing a separate order.
You can add a gift message to the item(s) during checkout. While you're in checkout, look for the "Include packing slip gift message" checkbox under Shipping Method. Once you check "Include packing slip gift message", a text box appears that enables you to enter a gift message up to 100 characters in length. This gift message will be added to the packing slip.

Log into your YankeeCandle.com account to take advantage of Express Checkout. Express Checkout automatically enters your shipping, billing, and payment information saved in your account, but lets you review and edit it before completing your order. Here's how it works:

  1. Once you’re ready to check out, make sure you’re logged into your account and then select “Continue to Checkout” in your Shopping Bag.
  2. Confirm that your displayed shipping address and payment method are correct.
  3. When your information is exactly as you want it, select the “Submit Order” button and your order will be processed.
If you leave something in your Shopping Bag, we’ll send you an email reminder with a list of the items you have added there. You can easily return to your Shopping Bag from the email, or use the email to continue shopping.

Gift cards are pre-paid cash or virtual cards that can be purchased and redeemed online at YankeeCandle.com, over the phone through catalog sales (1-877-803-6890) or in any of our Yankee Candle® retail store locations. (eGift Cards can only be purchased online.) To locate a store near you, please visit our Store Locator.

Traditional plastic Gift Cards will be mailed to the recipient with free economy shipping. Virtual eGift Cards will be delivered to the recipient via email, or emailed to you as a printable PDF if you select the "Hand Delivery" option. You can also personalize eGift Cards by adding a photo and custom message.

Gift card balances are set when they are purchased, and balances cannot exceed $200. You may redeem a maximum of four gift cards per purchase. You can check your gift card balance at YankeeCandle.com/giftcards.

The fastest way to send a gift — and now you can personalize it! Choose from ten designs with images and messaging appropriate to many gifting occasions, or create a custom eGift Card with your own image and your own message. You can make it unique and truly personal.

There are two delivery options. Send an eGift Card via email (usually delivered in just minutes) or select our “Hand Delivery” option that lets you generate a .pdf to print out and comes with instructions on how to fold your print-out to look just like a gift card. If you choose to email your eGift card, you can select a specific delivery date in the future — up to 12 months out. Both email and “Hand Delivery” versions provide the Gift Card number and PIN Code to redeem the card.

You can enter a preferred amount for your eGift Card or select denominations of $10, $25, $50, $75, $100 or $250. You can add multiple eGift cards to your shopping bag, up to a maximum bag total of $500.

How do I purchase an eGift Card?

To purchase an eGift Card, please visit us online. The eGift Card will be delivered via email to your recipient within minutes or at a time of your choosing — up to 12 months out.

How do I redeem an eGift Card?

In-Store: Provide a printout of your eGift Card to the Associate at checkout. The available balance on the eGift Card will be applied to your purchase.

Online: eGift Cards can be redeemed on www.yankeecandle.com, www.woodwick.com and chesapeake.yankeecandle.com. Follow the prompts to check out. On the Payment section in the Order Process, select Add Gift Card to enter your Gift Card Number and PIN. If the total cost of your order exceeds the available balance on your eGift Card, you will need to enter an additional payment method to cover the remaining balance.

Fragrance Cash Rewards coupons can be redeemed during the checkout process just like eGift Cards. When prompted during the checkout process to pay with a gift card, simply enter the 16-digit number from your Fragrance Cash reward email.

Sales tax is estimated at the time the product is purchased. We will automatically calculate the tax rate according to the shipping address.

We no longer ship orders internationally (outside US) . We do accept orders from international guests who select to ship an order to an address within the US, APO, and FPO.

Each promotion or offer runs for a limited period of time and may have its own requirements for redemption.
