Doesn’t smell like the essential oils
I am giving 1 star because I’m disappointed with the scent. I expected a strong scent of lemongrass and eucalyptus but instead it’s very soft and sweet rather than smelling like essential oils. Not at all what I had hoped for. It’s a pretty candle though.

Beautiful jar, but smells like lemony menthol
This Chesapeake candle comes in a beautiful frosted glass that gives the flame a lovely, soft look. The wooden lid can be used as a coaster under the candle while you burn it. The candle has a long, even burn with good throw. Unfortunately, this particular scent smells like lemony menthol vaporub to me, which isn’t what I want to smell in a candle. I’ve purchased other scents from this collection and have really loved them. My favorite being “Stillness and Purity” (jasmine & rose scent ) and “Balance and Harmony” (fresh pear & lily scent). The scents are fresh and light, but can easily fill a large room. I wouldn’t recommend this particular scent, but don’t hesitate to try the other delicious scents from this collection.
