Beautiful candle and set
This is a summer scent for me, but it does smell beautiful. I'll be using this in my bedroom come the warmer months. The actual jar is beautiful and will be a wonderful home decor piece for me. Chesapeake Bay candles are long lasting, the fragrance throw is fantastic and is easy to get the flame out without a lot a smoke. Would make great new home or bridal shower gifts.

I love that this set came with both sizes! I put them in different rooms in the house and it made the entire room it was in smell great! Plus having the other one the entire house smelled amazing! They look so pretty sitting out too it just really adds to the room. Great value!

The Ocean Retreat 4.5 oz. candle in the Chesapeake Bay scent smells so good! I detect notes of fruits, light florals and clean ocean scents. It’s a clean and pleasant smelling scent that I would recommend to anyone. Normally I place my candles in a candle warmer. I enjoy the light, luscious smell all day while I’m home. The candle is in a small, clear glass container. The scent of this candle would be pleasing to any guests that are in my home. I love it!

Elegant candle brings you to the shore
I have the whole ocean retreat collection! When I close my eyes, the fragrance does remind me of an East Coast beach on a summer late afternoon, and brings to mind a window with a view of the ocean, warm sun pouring through while the breeze blows through transparent white curtains.
The fragrance is like "citrus, white peppercorn, and linen." This candle looks simple but classy with white wax in an elegant glass jar with a silver lid embossed with the silhouette of a seagull. The kid is nice for safety and for keeping the candle from attacking dust.

Lightly in scent
This is a beautiful candle to have in the household. My only wish was that the scent was a bit stronger. If you're looking for a subtle scent that isn't overwhelming then this is the perfect candle to get.

Lovely
Love this scent. It is soft, slightly masculine (to me), and beachy. The candle is a great size and will last a while. It is a slow burn and allows the scent to fill our living room. And I also must mention how beautiful the jar and lid are. I don’t normally like to display my candles when not in use, but these are so gorgeous that I placed them on the dining table tray. Absolute yes to this!
