Love them
I love that this set came with both sizes! I put them in different rooms in the house and it made the entire room it was in smell great! Plus having the other one the entire house smelled amazing! They look so pretty sitting out too it just really adds to the room. Great value!

I’m thrilled to have the Ocean Retreat 8oz. Chesapeake Bay scent candle to try out! I have the candle sitting in my living room with the lid off. I can smell the fresh scents of florals, fruit and tea which are uplifting and promote relaxation. I use a candle warmer which allows the calming scent to permeate throughout my home. The textured, clear glass container that the candle is in is beautiful as well. I use the candle all the time and will continue to do so!

Bringing the clean ocean scent to the mountains.
The Ocean Retreat 4.5 oz. candle in the Chesapeake Bay scent smells so good! I detect notes of fruits, light florals and clean ocean scents. It’s a clean and pleasant smelling scent that I would recommend to anyone. Normally I place my candles in a candle warmer. I enjoy the light, luscious smell all day while I’m home. The candle is in a small, clear glass container. The scent of this candle would be pleasing to any guests that are in my home. I love it!

I have the whole ocean retreat collection! When I close my eyes, the fragrance does remind me of an East Coast beach on a summer late afternoon, and brings to mind a window with a view of the ocean, warm sun pouring through while the breeze blows through transparent white curtains.
The fragrance is like "citrus, white peppercorn, and linen." This candle looks simple but classy with white wax in an elegant glass jar with a silver lid embossed with the silhouette of a seagull. The kid is nice for safety and for maintaining the candle from dust.

This is a beautiful candle to have in the household. My only wish was that the scent was a bit stronger. If you're looking for a subtle scent that isn't overwhelming then this is the perfect candle to get.

Subtle scent
I like the glass container holding the candle. It makes it look elegant and a nice touch to the room. The candle burns efficiently. The lid was easy to remove before burning. I do wish the scent was stronger because it is very subtle.

Smells like wax when burned
This one smells slightly different then the medium size. The scent does smell good but I like the medium size scent more. When burning you cannot smell the scent though just burning wax. Kind of disappointed bulecause the scents are so clean, fresh and just brighten feeling.

First off, the vessel feels high quality with some weight and smooth edges. The smaller size is perfect for a bedroom or bathroom. The wax burned evenly with a consistant flame, but I did find the smell of the wick overpowering the scent of the candle. After letting it burn for a little over an hour I didn't feel like the hot throw was as nice as the cold throw.

Ok for small spaces
The vessel is beautiful and it gave a clean wax pool and even flame. As for scent throw, I placed is centrally and after a couple hours the smell didnt really carry. I had to be standing right next to it to smell it, but the scent itself was overpowered by the smell of the wick burning.

It is the smaller of the tumbler candles therefore it is perfect for a bathroom or a reading nook. The Ocean retreat scent is very clean and fresh. Everyone who visits always comments how nice my house smells. They s as Lao come with a lid that seeks in scent when not in use. Quality as expected from Chesapeake Bay line.

The luxurious scent of the Chesapeake Bay fragrance line is wonderful. The medium sized is easy to move from room to room. It has a lid which I believe keeps the scent from dissipating. I love the Ocean Retreat as it is multi-seasonal.

This is a gorgeous candle in the scent of ocean retreat. It’s the medium Tumbler size and it’s from Chesapeake Bay fragrance which is a division of Yankee candle I really appreciate the heavy duty materials that going to making this candle. It has a nice weight behind it and it could also double as a paper weight. Honestly, it smells delicious just like you would step out into the sand and the ocean is right there. I would highly recommend it and I would definitely consider purchasing it in the future. I really enjoyed this candle. Thank you

Perfect gift for any candle lover, i love the texture on the glass, and gives a little more grip verse the smooth small one. The smell is amazing, and the candle really burns quite beautifully and doesn’t burn too quickly. The Ocean retreat is a strong scent, and smells a lot like cologne, but it smells really good! I am more sensitive to smells, so after a while i did get a little bit of a headache from this. Other than that i loved this so much! My husband really enjoys it too!

These candles are sooooo nice, i love the canisters they come in and they burn beautifully! The lid seals perfectly back on and easy to get off without any trouble. The Ocean Retreat scent is pretty strong, it smells almost like a cologne but it’s nice! I am a little more sensitive to smells so after using this i did get a little bit of a headache from the strength of the scent. They would make wonderful gifts for any candle lover!
