I feel exhausted and want to soak in a warm bath for a long time with my favorite scented candle to recharge both my body and mind. The feeling of dimming the bathroom lights, lighting the candle, and immersing myself in the warm water with the candle's subtle fragrance is incredibly relaxing. I’m in love with the jars' design. It smells like a serene, high-end coastal resort—which is ideal when you can't actually escape to the beach for the weekend. Thinner lid than I’d prefer but it doesn’t take away from the candle and keeps it safe while it’s not in use. The wick is made of natural fibers. The essential oil blend is non-overpowering and just enough to give off a pleasant scent with notes including lemon, bergamot, cardamom, jasmine, white peppercorn, and linen musk. With hours and hours of burn time, this candle is sure to make a statement in any room and puts you in a coastal mood when lit.

I love water scents for bathrooms, and this “ocean retreat” scent did not disappoint. It’s rather subtle, but a very nice scent. I like this size, too. Small enough to fit anywhere, and large enough that it should last a decent amount of time. I would recommend this candle if you like water scents.

With this Ocean Breeze Chesapeake Bay Candle in the scent Ocean Retreat, you can do just that. Relax. With this easygoing candle you feel like you are in a spa. Your whole house subtly fills with the scent of fresh clean linnon, coastal, lemon breeze. It smells like you just washed a fresh load of cotton. Anytime someone comes over, I get so many compliments on this candle and how good it smells. I am able to leave this candle going for hours and it isn't overwhelming. I usually set it up on my candle warmer on a timer for a couple of hours. My favorite part of this candle is how beautiful the packaging is. It looks absolutely beautiful on my coffee table or my candle warmer. The glass jar is stunning and very durable. I even dropped it once, and it didn't even leave a scratch! I also noticed how well and evenly the was burned. It made it super easy to make sure the candle did not tunnel. The wick also burned pretty tall, which was a sight to see. Even after trimming the wick, the fire would burn beautifully high. I would absolutely recommend this candle to others, especially those who enjoy coastal or clean linnon scents. This is a candle you can burn every night for months before you are able to use it all up. Not to mention, it's supper affordable.
