Beautiful but defective
I bought this quite a while ago, actually I didn’t use it until around July when I moved into my apartment. It’s pictured on the vineyard scented original candle.. ( LOVE) but I started noticing my farm fresh tree candle was burning on one side only ( and I make candles) so this baffled me.. so long behold after pretty much loosing that candle because it wouldn’t burn, I put it on the vinyard candle and it started again! So I took the shade off n examined it closely and it’s actually crooked . So at least I managed to get a beautiful burn out of my vineyard, but paid full price for this shade & my forest pine candle was a total loss..( all the defective stuff or wrong items etc adds up after while) I always try and leave positive reviews or not say anything, but the ppl packing these things should inspect this stuff ( it is ppl I hope) and shipping department really needs to do better.. I have a box of candles that need to be returned and there’s no return label, no way to send it back, nor do I have a way to print one.. I always spend at least $300 & up as well as many friends but I’m tired of getting the wrong items, defective items and can’t send it back. I absolutely LOVE the new line & every single scent is incredible but don’t wanna order and have another box of stuff that can’t be used..or the wrong items etc etc.. but IF your lucky enough to get a well made shade this shade has a nice weight to it & looks beautiful all year round ( that was my plan)

Pretty, but.....
This shade cracked loudly while I was sitting next to the candle it was on, and now has a large crack across it. Lucky it didn't shatter and scatter. I have only had it about a month, so very disappointed.

You could probably set it on top of that candle, but I don't think it would a) be secure or b) look good. Wait for YC to design a complimentary shade.

I use this topper on the large jars that is the only size candles I have. It sits loosely on the top of the large jar so I don't think it will fit on the top of a smaller jar and it would not be safely as it would be top heavy. The height of the topper is about three quarters the height of the large jar (about 5 1/2 inches without lid) and is made of a thicker glass than the jar. It probably will fit a straight sided jar with a wide top opening (Topper base measures about 2 5/8 inches wide).
