Reminiscent of Nature's Paintbrush
I was pleasantly surprised when I received Lakeside Mist. My all time favorite Yankee Candle scent was Nature's Paintbrush. Yankee discontinued the collection, but to my pleasant surprise this fragrance, Lakeside Mist is nearly a perfect match. So anyone who misses Nature's Paintbrush, you will want to snag this fragrance. I purchased 5. Beautiful, delicate fragrance.

Poor quality
Scent is great and strong but product itself came in very poor quality. Inside of glass jar was mottled with little pieces of wax from the candle, giving it a messy appearance. The wicks were very uneven sizes and one of them does not even look like it's able to be lit. There should have been quality control with this product and should not have been sent out. Disappointed.

Pretty Nice Conceptual Candle.
Lakeside mist is an interesting candle I wanted to try. Good price on sale. Great lid that is nice with the wood but mine stays on no matter what. The blue colors are lovely both on cold and the darker blue when burning. Could be a three wick but the two get the job done just takes longer to fully pool. Throw is on the line between light and medium. Scent is outdoorsy, airy, watery, and mineral like almost salty but more a watery vegetation kind of scent. Has a bit of mist or heavy air like quality. Maybe it will trigger a scent memory or remind one of a lake but it doesn't really smell "good". Organic like you can picture the damp wood and plants and leaves and such being by a lake but not "good" like floral or fruit or food. More like nature and water and organic matter which some may like. Not my favorite but I like it and it is interesting. For me more pleasing to the eye with the great hues of blue than the scent.
