Although this candle has a pleasant, authentic scent of lavender, its smell doesn't throw. Very slight scent and you need to get very close to smell it. The look is pretty, though.

Very Disappointed
I purchased this candle in hopes that it would smell just as good as the Lavender Lemon candle. Needless to say, I’m very disappointed, I’ve been burning the candle for 2 hours and there’s barely any scent, I can only smell a small hint of Lavender when I literally pick the candle up and sniff it with my nose right by the wick, and there’s definitely no scent of Mint. The only thing good about the candle is the pretty frosted purple glass holder that the candle is in. I ordered this candle online because I don’t live anywhere near a Yankee candle, therefore if I was to send it back to request a different one, I’d have to pay for shipping. Complete waste of money, I definitely don’t recommend this candle at all.
