I love this scent- it has a rich, warm, sophisticated scent. I think that these particular candles were older stock (compared to batch I bought last year) as much less throw.

Strange, unique scent but love it
I don't know what it is about this fragrance that I like so much, but I bought another one before even finishing the first. Black Sesame? Who can say what that might smell like, but it's unusual and pleasant. Everyone who comes in while I'm burning it has commented on how much they like it and are always surprised by the name

Great smell close up but very faint when lit
This candle has a rich, warm smell...but only when you sniff it up close. When lit, I found I could barely smell it at all, even after a couple of hours. I wish I knew why some of Yankee's candles have an awesome throw, while others are barely there. I'm disappointed because it has a nice smell but it's very faint.

Disappointed
I purchased the large candle and it smells really nice before lit. Unfortunately the smell does not travel at all. When I first removed the lid from the candle, the wick was a little bent into the candle; sure enough it burned for maybe 2 hours before the wick drowned in its wax. This candle had a lot of potential and the overall experience was regrettably disappointing.

TERRIBLE CANDLES!
I am very unhappy with my purchase. my candles seem to be defective. one of them has a wick that is too small, cant burn it, several have no fragrance at all. one of the candles had a long big plastic thing shoved down in the wax...very strange. i feel i have wasted my money on these candles. i buy from Yankee all the time and have always been happy until i bought these candles. do not waste your money.
