Fragrance is not potent
The initial smell prior to lighting is very nice and spicy like ginger but its also very faint and light. Once lit, you still cant really smell the fragrance, even in small spaces. I am not a fan of the Chesapeake collection at all. None of the candles so far give me a fresh feeling within the house.

Beautiful candle to put on the coffee table. Scent isn’t strong at all. I can’t say that this candle would fill an entire big room like a living room but would be great for a smaller room like a bathroom.

Very Faint Unique Scent
This scent would probably be okay in another type of candle, but this candle style does not burn the candle up evenly and burns way faster than the other candle types. Not really worth the expense. It is a pleasant, unique scent. Pretty faint - would be nice if just a bit stronger. Room 'feels' warm, cozy, calming / soothing when this candle is burning.

I can see why they're on clearance
It could be a decent candle. The scent is too light, so I paid for ambiance. It doesn't melt the entire surface, so you're left with 3 gouges in the wax. The wicks are very soft and prone to falling over into the hot wax snuffing themselves. Overall, I'm glad I bought it in a big sale but I would be furious if I paid full price for it. It's also made in Vietnam not USA. Out of all the candles I bought in the sale this one has the better scent and did not arrive completely shattered.

Large Dish Candle
This scent is very mild, I’ve found all of this line in the larger ceramic dish are very frail as they either come chipped or completely broke, now mind you Yankee Candle does replace them because they are a wonderful company and stand by their products.

After the large ceramic bowl candle wicks have burned down, I freeze the wax then remove it &amp; the adhesive then run through dishwasher. They come out looking great! Would they be safe to use for dinnerware or cookware? Or figure out a craft for them?
