Not strong, and- strange.
If I could, I would buy Yankee Candles at least twice a month. I just love them. Unfortunately, I am on a fixed income, but I am glad I can budget to buy them every now and then. I check the website frequently to see what is on sale, and try to take advantage of the reduced prices. This candle was on sale not long ago, and I ordered it, along with a couple of other marked-down items. This, I have to say, was the only candle out of everything in my order that I really didn't like. The notes sounded good in the description but when I lit it, the scent of it was very weak. I had to put my nose six inches above the burning wicks to smell anything. And what I could smell was really-- strange. The closest I can come to a description is it smelled like slightly scorched wood shavings that someone had spilled pomegranate juice on. It wasn't horrible, it was just- weird. However, it wasn't a strong scent at all, so its weakness made the candle inoffensive. I put the candle out on an enclosed porch where we have a catbox, and it did actually make it smell a tiny bit nicer out there. As it was on a high, stable shelf the cats cannot get to, and where it could not fall off or anything, we lit it one morning on our day off, and forgot about it. I checked on it later, and the candle had burned itself out. (You still really couldn't smell it, even though it had been burning all day.) Oh, well. At least the bowl-like container that candle came in is a really nice addition to our dish cabinet. This bowl is very well made, and very attractive. The inside of it is super smooth, and it is not a "skimpy" bowl- it's very good quality. It works really well for cereal, or salsa, or for water for the kitties. So that was one big positive we got out of the purchase of this candle.

Soft and Fragrant.
The currant and herbals shine in this mix. Light and refreshing. Decent throw for a 12' x 18' room; soy has a lighter throw, so don't expect a jar candle scent. Vessel is terrific for up-cycling. I received one that must have been older for it didn't have any throw at all, but that's clearance, for ya.

No Fragrance
If you put your nose right to the wax, you can pick up some scent which was pleasant. I burned this candle until the wicks became displaced and would no longer burn evenly. I will never buy this brand of candle again.

After the large ceramic bowl candle wicks have burned down, I freeze the wax then remove it &amp; the adhesive then run through dishwasher. They come out looking great! Would they be safe to use for dinnerware or cookware? Or figure out a craft for them?
