Rated 4 out of 5 by from Refreshing and juicy citrus! This is a lovely candle. Juicy grapefruit, with other notes that combine to just smell pretty, and freshly citrus. Grapefruit can sometimes have a "sharpness" to it, but this candle is the exact opposite- it's comforting. This is a great candle to burn in the morning, as it feels cleansing, and grapefruit is a nice wake-up scent. (My mom always ate a half a grapefruit for breakfast, so I can enjoy that memory, as well.) It is a great candle to burn near cooking, or food, or in a room that you will be serving a meal or snacks as the natural citrus does not clash with other "food" scents. And, if I am not sure what scents people like, and someone is coming over, I burn this candle, as it is a nice neutral scent that everyone seems to like. It's not "masculine" or "feminine" or too sweet or too sharp; it's just right. You can't go wrong with fresh and natural citrus. If I had a complaint about it, it would be that the "throw" or the amount of spread of the scent in the air is a bit on the minimal side. For me. I like VERY strongly scented candles, where you open a door to the room where a candle is burning, and you smell it immediately. With this candle, it's a scent that you perceive after a moment or two. But it *is* a very lovely, juicy, soft grapefruit-centered candle that has universal appeal, and I definitely recommend it for all citrus lovers.
