Cute Matters from
A Sea of Sweet Flowers
It was reminiscent of the sophisticated perfume wealthy women wore when I was growing up, and the rich aroma on the ladies’ floor at Takashimaya. I wasn’t sure how I would like it. But, it grew on me. A sweet, fragrant and rich floral scent that lingered, making you feel like being surrounded by a sea of sweet flowers. Just plain floral - no zest, no woodiness. That said, it would be good to let any zesty or woody scent in the room dissipate before you light it, so it wouldn’t mingle with them and give off an odd odor - something we learned the hard way. I found the couple CC’s Heritage Collection candles we tried sophisticatedly aromatic. However, the wax did not burn as clean as YC’s, and the wick sparked more.
